Amy Amy Janet JanetAubrey Plaza is a comedian as well as an actor who was born in the month of June, 1984. The wit of her deadpan personality has earned her the respect of many a choice in comedy. Plaza appears as April Ludgate in "Parks and Recreation". After acting in sketches and improv the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater she was first seen in "The Jeannie Tate Show" which was followed by "Funny People", "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World", and various other web series. This is her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of financial expert David Plaza and attorney Bernadette Plaza was born in Wilmington Delaware. She is Puerto Rican and her mother is Irish, English and Irish. Plaza graduated from a Catholic all-girls school in 2002. She then attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 2006. She was the president of her high school's student government and also participated in Wilmington Drama League productions during her time as a senior. In 2004, as she was in her 2nd year at college, Plaza suffered a stroke which left her with expressive aphasia as well as a time of paralysis. She has now recovered.
